John MacFarlane

John H. MacFarlane is the President & CEO of London Health Sciences Foundation (LHSF).

An experienced fundraiser at the volunteer, board, and professional levels, John is a leader with a wide-ranging background and a proven track record of success in relationship building, major campaigns, executive management and governance. Prior to joining LHSF, John held roles as Vice President, Advancement at Acadia University and Senior Development Officer at Queen's University.

Originally from New Brunswick, John is a highly respected leader in the non-profit sector and frequently speaks at conferences and events and sits on the National Council of Foundation Executives. A lawyer by training, John holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Acadia University, a Law degree from the University of New Brunswick and a Master of Public Administration degree from Queen's University.

John's unwavering commitment to making a positive impact in the world makes him a true modern-day leader who embodies empathy, passion and a deep sense of purpose. Under his leadership, the London Health Sciences Foundation continues to make a significant difference in the lives of countless individuals and families in southwestern Ontario and beyond.
